That should be a final straw for the people, but we know it will not be, they will just lay down their rights. This will keep average citizens and poor citizens from defending their selves. What an unreasonable tax! Talk about discrimination. This will help secure the police state in California. This is government tyranny, and the government of California has become destructive to no ends, and the minority of people opposed to this in California need to read the the deceleration of independence for a little inspiration, and understand their natural rights.

Guys and Gals, if California can't get away with this, it can be done on a national level. Mid-terms are more important now than ever.

Every time an individual buys a box of ammo, they must submit personal information for review and pay a $50 permit fee. After the private details and money has been paid, the state will then, and only then, decide if the customer will be allowed to put the ammunition into a sack and walk out of the store. The same day purchase of ammunition in California may be a thing of the past, depending upon how long it takes for the background results to return.
Wait a minute, I thought it was a one-time "permit" type thing like the FOID in Illinois. Did they seriously just pass a law requiring you to pay $50 every single time you buy ammo? Don't get me wrong, I believe it happened its just so god damn insane it makes you take a step back.

Remember this anytime some commie traitor says "nobody wants to take your guns, we just want reasonable restrictions" or "common sense reforms."
