Congrats! I cant wait until my son is old enough to appreciate nature and it's plentiful resources.

 

I would rather take my kids hunting and seeing them catch the bug than me hunt a hundred days.

 

I agree. At first it was a burden trying to find time to hunt myself....now I will feel odd when they are gone and I can hunt alone.

 

Cool. You are doing two things right. Enjoying him during the hunt and also taking pics so you can enjoy this event many times later.

Unfortunately for me, I've only had Jakes. I've let three Jakes walk and only worked one mature bird but couldn't close the deal. The Jakes are starting to look tasty!
Maybe young Jeb would send me some of his good hunting mojo and I could connect!
