I have to wonder what planet the British Parlaiment is living on...and in which galaxy...in which universe.

In little more than one generation, they've taken the good people of Great Britain from a proud, hardy, independent and self-sufficient heritage to a nation of sheep afraid to defend themselves from a personal attack. Even their homes and families are no longer sacred.

God...What has brought them to this?

The present situation in Great Britain began long ago...before WW2.

When the call went out for arms and ammunition to equip the home guard in the event that the Germans crossed the English Channel...the citizenry of the US answered the call and sent tens of thousands of privately owned smallarms and hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition.

When Germany finally fell...the British government had its citizens turn in the weapons to be scrapped. Scrapped!

This, in spite of the fact that the Germans were practically on their front porch just
30 years earlier...and they were trembling over that one, too.

Following the Falklands victory...wanna take a guess what they did with all those FN-LAR rifles that they captured from the Argentines? That's right. They scrapped them.

These people will never learn.
