I have been doing more lurking than posting lately. So I decided to take the time to post my first build. Thanks for all the advice and direction that got me through the process of deciding on parts.

Here's my PSA mid-length pictured with my M&P 15 Sport.

My total is under $625. I think I did well, though I haven't shot it except to ensure it functioned. Hopefully, I will be able to zero and stretch it out soon.

I apologize for this being in parts but trying to do this from my phone.

The highlights of the build are:
Adams Arms Voodoo Innovation melonited barrel
PSA blem lower and upper
PSA LPK
PSA PTAC bcg (full auto rated)
UTG Pro Super Slim rail
MFT Minimalist stock

If you don't mind me asking, what did the UTG rail cost and did you get it from PSA as well?

Thanks hardluk1, DACarryman, and copout228. I was shopping lowers already. I am addicted. Its amazing how I keep thinking I want an AK but can't shake this AR15 craving.

Hard to tell from the pics is that a carbine length barrel?
It's a mid length. I wanted to see how different it would be from carbine length. I can't tell yet. I need to shoot more.

I bought it for about $80. I say "about" because Amazon was running their $20 off $100 deal. I purchased the rail and a UTG A2 sight post tool for $80 and some change.

I too bought the UTG rail. Cost me $80 on Amazon. For the cost it can't be beat. UTG stuff usually seems to be chinese, but these are marked "made in the USA" for what that is worth.

I am happy with mine so far. Seems very rigid I do really like the shape of it. You get what you pay for, but in this case I do feel like it is a great deal.

Edit: the only downside is the dicks on this forum who will call it an "airsoft handguard", lol.

Seeing you courageously flaunt your handguard gave me the courage to admit I liked UTG Pro too. :)

Until you try to install that "Airsoft" handguard, it looks good. Then put it on and tighten it with the Chinese wrench that comes with it and see what happens. :D

Good job on the build. I did one very similar, and it was my 1st build also. I like old school peep sights so without any optics on it I'm a little over $500 in it. I sighted it in at 100yds and in the 3+ years since I 1st put it all together I've ran a little over 2000 rounds through it without any hassles.
