I like a plain leather pancake holster. Keeps gun right in place usually high and tight to your side. Chief Jason, gunbelt both make nice looking pancakes. I usually go to Murphs and get one made for 20.00.

My only reason is that I use it for OWB open-carry on occasion and like the added retention for that purpose.

You might be surprised how many people talk about carrying them CC, or even IWB. Yes, I've been asked. OC is about the only good reason for them, or carry in the woods.

I like the strap because it adds some dramatic flair to my high noon stand offs. Flip that sucker off and the miscreant knows ol Boog is meanin business.
