That is funny. What is most striking to me about the article was the quote "The boys gave them a bit of a slap". Followed by saying the report was confirmed but then everything was squashed so they didn't have to go to court. While I agree with that decision and am happy they beat these would be thieves, in this country, any special forces unit that did that would be facing criminal charges followed by a lengthy civil trial when the "abused" teenagers ragailed their story about how "they were just stealing stuff and didn't deserve to be beaten for it. That's brutality."

Some things, the brits do better. The SAS is given a wide berth by the people and the authorities in England and for good reason.

What they do wrong is if a civie did that, they would do more jail time than the crooks. Whack an intruder with a bat and you might get arrested. Funny stuff though.

I need to see a dramatic Discovery Channel re-enactment of this with the fella from Euro Trip and Gone in Sixty Seconds (Vinnie Jones...be sure to wait for the scene at 5:33 when they make their way into France...watch without coffee in your mouth!) playing the role of "Sarge" with the SAS.

"Now please...enlighten me...WHO THE F%$K ARE YOU?!?!?!"
