I just bought a box of 500 bullets. They're 452 Diameter 200 grain 45 Colt (Long Colt) bullets.

When I ordered these through Midway, I was paying attention to the 45 cal 452 diameter and didn't notice they were 45 Colt (Long Colt).

Did I buy the wrong bullets for reloading 45 ACP?

Actually, reading the reviews, they appear to be used for 45 auto. I must have read the review originally before I added them to my cart. So I guess I'm good to go.

As you might have realized, I'm new to reloading. :)
You can probably use them but i would check them and see what they measure out to. Most of the time i have checked them they measure .451 any how.

They will work fine. Might not be the best to use in the World Bullseye Championship. Used to shoot a bunch of 45 Colt. I now shoot a 180 and a 200gr 452 in my National Match.

Anybody you know that cast 45acp? He probably has a sizer that you can make 451 out of 452.

Finally got these made up. They worked perfectly, and my fire was about as accurate as I can shoot. I put them on 4.0 grains of Bullseye and found it a very easy load. These worked out much better then the 185g cast SWC I'd used in my previous loads.
