I went in this morning at 7:15.

I was number 3

the radio guy was saying something about 15% turn out. That is sad..

and NO, I didnt vote for Tillis.
I got to mine at 8:45 this morning I was number 19. I went for Brannon for the senate and fox for the house

I was at my precinct at 7:15am. I was number 12. My wife went around 8am and was number 34, my old football running-back number. The guy on the local AM talk radio was talking about expected turnout in our area at 4%, that's right, 4%! Shameful. I will hear folks moan, groan, gripe and complain, and don't vote! Simply shameful!!!

Primaries are always low turnout affairs....although the general elections only fair marginally better. I think it's emblematic of what's wrong with Western civilization in general and America in particular: as a people we want everything handled for us rather than handling it ourselves.

Won't be too much longer until we get that wish....and I doubt anyone that's not at the top is going to like it much at all.

As I fumble around my desk trying to find my GRNC mailer, I need to ask a stupid question.

Are all of the normal polling places open for the primary, or do I possibly need to go to somewhere different? It wouldn't surprise me if they had a limited number of polling places open ... It's ok to ask a dumb question as long as I vote, right? haha

Turnout is always a major issue in American politics. You see many people who think we need to move voting from TUES to a SAT/SUN to improve it. I know it would help me, I work out of town/state. But I always vote in the generals, even if I don't get to vote in the primaries.
