But I can see if you had some issues there would be reason to complain, but Ruger customer service is tops in the industry as well so.....try them out.

...
They didn't do anything about the crooked sights on my recall gun, and when I called them about the SR762 not feeding with Gen3 mags, they said send the mags in and they would send me DPMS mags. What they should have said was send in the rifle and we will fix or replace it.

One more thing to consider with all of this is most of the guns being talked about with QC issuses here are low end guns. These are not $1000 dollar guns where we pretty much expect perfection but $200-400 guns. Lets face the facts here that is about bottom of the barrel for a new firearm and being such I don't expect as much out of them.

I don't expect perfection out a $1000 gun, either. If I bought a $1000 Colt or Springfield that had issues out of the box, I wouldn't be terribly disappointed and it wouldn't affect future purchases in the least. Customer service...now that will break me. If I pay $1000 and then you expect me to talk to a suckhole customer service rep, we've got problems. Especially since I typically go out of my way to be nice. I've seen a few things in my life and I just don't get mad over much except rudeness.

My SR762 cost $1600. It doesn't matter how much a gun costs. Even a cheaply made gun should be made correctly. There is a big difference between quality higher costing features, and basic quality control.
