Yup. Politics trumped reality. Two lives lost. This loser and the person that got bumped from the list so he could waste the heart.

 

Read this yesterday and thought about how lucky he was to get 2 more years of a good life....... Not really, I thought about how someone lost out so a thug could live to rob another day. Thanks media and bleeding hearts, y'all really help folks.

I read an article from when he got the heart, he said it would allow him to straighten his life out....... Fail

Can't confirm this, but kept reading in comments that this was his second transplant. First transplant failed because he didnt take the required drugs. With his fighting and not taking his drugs, they denied him. Allegedly, the hospital can't talk about it because of hipaa, and the parents went to the media and pressured a second heart.

At least, that's the story.

 

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Just hate that the transplant might have help someone that wouldn't have pissed it away.

On a real note, I'd like to know where the money came from for his treatments. I'll bet it wasn't from private insurance.

 

This really bothers me because most likely someone else died not being able to get the transplant. It hits a nerve with me. In 2000 my mother died from a chronic lung disease (one I inherited also). She was on a transplant list and voluntarily removed herself because she felt that, at 50, she might rob a younger person from the chance of living. Here this young man was given the most precious gift, life. It was pissed away. I am sorry for the rant but it truly disgusts me.

 

Poor little thug, wasted not 1 life but 2 all on his own. I hope his kin are proud of him.

 

Or maybe 3 lives. This was his third heart counting his own. His first transplant didn't work because he refused to take his anti-rejection medicine.

 

I read about this yesterday and read that when he was denied his family started screaming about it being because he was black and that is why they capitulated and gave him the transplant. To this I say, are you surprised that someone who resorted to that tactic would be such an utter failure? What a waste.

 

It wasn't his fault he was like this .... white man caused it.
