I am thinking about selling my LCR to fund a Nano. I see some issues out there with using under powered ammo but not much else negative. Any experiences and/or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the link Luke. It was kind of a toss up between the Nano & the CM9 but I am now leaning towards the Nano after handling both. I have not shot either gun yet.

My daughter has mine. She loves it and won't give it back.

What's the trigger on the Nano comparable to? I really do need to check one out. The size and price is right, if the trigger is right...
I can't really compare it o anything. it's double action but better than any double action I've ever encountered. It takes getting use to but once you do it's pretty decent.

Looooonnnnngggggggg. It is a double action all the time, so that is part of it, but it felt longer and more squishy than other DAOs to me. Much different than M&Ps and Glocks.

I got one and it wasn't for me. Trigger was long and pretty heavy. It was thicker and heavier than my taurus pt709 which it was intended to replace. I actually traded it for a lcr.I've tried a few of the pocket 9s, end up going back to the lowly Taurus. Give one a try if you haven't. Good little pistol with a decent trigger and double strike capable. I have probably 6-700 rds through it problem free.

A childs toy that shoots ping pong balls. It builds tension throughout the pull and then snaps like you broke something. Very similar to an LCP.

My wife has an LCP. The triggers are nothing alike.

Swapped my LCR for mlc's Nano, hope he's as happy with the trade as I am. I think the Nano has a better trigger than the LCR, very much like the Kahr CW9 I used to have. I'm also able to pocket carry without issue, usually in Lee regular fit jeans.

Set down the pipe son, you have taken one hit too many.

Hey, this might sound crazy, but...
I had a Nano. It was EXTREMELY accurate, and for a polymer pistol, built like a little tank.
I didnt like the trigger, but i was repeatedly shocked by the teeny 1-hole groups it shot, so the Mushy trigger did not impact accuracy at all.
however, When i fired it to compare a/b with my Taurus 709, It came up a very distant second.
( and Both were 100% on 115, 124 and 147gr ammo for me... reg and +p.)
The pearce grip extenders On the taurus mags make a huge difference in controllability, follow up, and confidence.
If i had them for the nano... my big hands would have liked it.
I kept the taurus, and happily sold the beretta. ( the crazy part...)
Beretta was supposed to come out with +2mag extenders for the Nano... but they were supposed to be out 9 months ago too...
YMMV.

I have a friend that's probably about to trade both his Nano and PPS on a P30 .40 (great choice IMO). Honestly, I didn't care for the Nano in 9mm, PPS in .40, or the CM40. These are all popular weapons, but none of them did it for me. I've already got my "go to" compact and SubKompact combat tupperware and don't plan to change up any time soon.

I fired a taurus slimline a few weeks ago and hated it.
