I was shooting the AR a couple weeks ago. Two old guys came up and set up in the booth beside me with casings all over their slot from my ejects...... I picked up and moved down.

You would think if your stepping all over shiny brass, you might think hmmm, maybe we should move down one.

they probably just wanted your brass. i polietly asked a guy to move one time when the whole range was open and he decided to post up next to me and I was purposly at one end of the range so there would be open spots between each shooter.

As if Parking lot vultures weren't bad enough. We have brass Vultures? Sonofa!

That was pretty much what happened here. I had probably 8 lanes between me and the next guy and we were the only two. This guy sets up right next to me. It was a private range and I was a guest so I just moved.

Happened to me when I was shooting for my permit. Instructor had us five wide and told us to shoot and the girl to my left hit me in the head with about three cases before I stopped and waited for her to finish and then I shot. She had no clue she was even doing it. I still have my target and there are two shot outside the target until I figured it out.

The funniest I ever saw was from a P3AT. Guy was shooting it for the first time and had no clue what was happening til one casing popped a woman about 20 feet behind him. Those things create some serious hang time when they eject.

Hahaha.. this video reminds me of when I was at a shoot, and our Admin, NCShooter26 was set up next to me. I started letting em fly with my M4, and after about 10 rounds, noticed out of the corner of my eye he is dancing beside me. Wondering what the commotion was about, I ceased fire, and saw he was trying to brush my hot brass off of him.

 Good times.

Fresh 223 spent casings are freaking hot. Back in 04 I was shooting a 250 rd belt through a 1919 and about 1/2 way through, I felt a sharp pain in my neck. 2 cases lodged between my collar and my neck and burnt the crap out of me. It left 2 nice case burn marks on my neck in size .308.
