Butner is a great place to shoot. Electronic targets are easy to operate. Sounds like a lot of fun.

I thought about getting it back in 2014. It will be in Raton, NM in 2013 along with the World Championship (first one in the US). I am hosting an East Coast Fullbore Nationals in April at Butner. This style of shooting puts more on wind reading ability since you are pair firing. If anyone is interested here, I'll start up a separate thread in the competitions section. I have set it up so we can set lots of national records. We will shoot from 300 to 1000 yards.

Please do so. Many on CSC do not know what LR options are open to them outside of some limited matches.

If you could, have someone fro NSSC post the NSSC dates as well for F-Class, Service rifle and so on.

I think you will be shocked at how many would come to the events.

Looking forward to this and was hoping to have my 264 gARP done by now and the 30P-1 attached, looks like the old loud .308 will have to do.

 

I absolutely recommend this to any members on the fence, I'll be there Saturday and past classes have shown me that John is by far one of the best instructors in the state.

 

Just got done loading 110 rounds, fingers are toast, time to test a few out tomorrow and tweak if need be... Going to be awesome!

 

Headed to bed soon, at 7am we will start the safety brief!!!!!

Just wanted to say Thanks to John and Scott for a well ran shoot. Me, Ted and Gunner had a great time and look forward to the next one! The moving heads were funny as hell, lol.

I got a few pics with my phone but not any worth posting. If anyone has good pics, post or let me know so I can give you my email.

 

As luck would have it I had a few hours to kill in Butner so I decided I would take a few photos of the event. Some of the photos are unclear and this is due to me a camera failure and using the camera I usually use for videos. I apologize for the fuzzyness of some of the photos as well as If I neglected to get any of the shooters in the photos. Hope you enjoy
