I finished the first phase of my little gun cart project I will use at my next 2 gun rimfire match. Found the lightly used Expedition jogger on Craig's list and purchased the Coleman ATV gun racks from Wallyworld. The Expedition model is the one I was looking for and I like the swiveling front wheel, it makes maneuvering the cart really easy. I have about $100 total in the cart and I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Now you just need a baby to put in it!
At 53 that's a scary thought now since the kids are grown and gone! The wife would not approve of me pushing the Grand kids in the gun cart.......I see no issue with it, but thats just me.

Very Nice. I'm digging the turn signals.

I did about the same thing to a purple frilly baby jogger about six months ago. Bought it off Craigs List and met the seller in Cary. That's when the question I was dreading came up.....

"So, my wife wants to know, who is it for?"

Uhm, someone at work..... well, thanks again, see ya.

Nice ingenuity, but why not just buy a case big enough to hold that stuff?
If you shoot 2 gun or 3 gun matches you will find out quickly. Often there is a lot of walking from the parking lot to the range and between different stages, and caring 2-3 long guns and handguns in cases, a large range bag and other range gear, water, snacks and several hundred rounds of ammo can be a pain and cumbersome. This solution solves the problem effectively and inexpensively. And always remember never stand when you can sit, and wheeling around heavy gear is always better than carrying it!

When I shot my first 3-gun match, I looked around at the guys with the strollers, and thought to myself "Look at these idiots, pushing strollers around..." About an hour later I was kicking myself for not thinking of the idea before the match.

There is a LOT of gear to be carried at a 3-gun match, and the $10 craigslist baby jogger fits the bill nicely.

Good work. I see those kinds of carts all the time up at Camp Perry during the Nationals. Makes hauling your gear around all day pretty easy when you're on the range for 12 hours.

I got mine at the Goodwill store for 25.00, took the baby butt sling out and the fender over the front wheel, and made two wooden shelves, that will still fold with the cart. Holds a cooler and three range bags. Bought rifle holders, but haven't installed them yet.
