My G43 is my favorite carry gun of all time (and I have tried about everything out there). Its a great shooter, easy to conceal with my Bubba waist and is simple to work on and upgrade.

The downside is the 6+1 capacity. I recently purchased the Vickers +2 baseplates for my mags and am now at 8+1. I figured I would share my findings.

They sold for $9.75 plus S&H which is a fantastic deal, especially considering the extra power spring being included. It extends the mag size to easily fit the entire hand with no dangling pinky.

So far the reliability is just like factory.

The ONLY drawback is the smooth surface on front. It would have been great to include the gen4 rtf treatment for better grip but hey for about 10 bucks I will put some skateboard tape on front.

Hope it helps you G43 owners. Pics below: packaging, size vs g19, size versus Pearce +0 extension.

I am going to follow-up on my above post and give this product a "thumbs up."

So, I ordered two +2 extensions when I made the above post. According to the emails, I ordered at 6:50 PM on March 1st. They shipped at 10:56 AM on March 2nd...14 hrs. Delivered this afternoon.

I installed the extension and went to the range. 150 trouble free rounds.

It feels good to have extra grip, 8+1 rounds, and it still tucks away IWB nicely.

I tried the ghost I was not a fan as there was a gap between the grip plug area and the extension. I saw the Strike Industries SI G43 and that look promising as it was checkered around all sides and has a built in plug that extended down the length of the extension. At about $14 I'm still debating getting rid of my pearce extensions and going that route

During the winter, I had been carrying my 43 with a TT +2 and it really didn't make much of a difference. even started carrying it with just a t shirt and it still doesn't really print much more than with the pinky extension. I have tried carrying a 19 and it just doesn't work for me...I wish I could though.
