I remember when they sold them at roses for 69$.

Then they slowly started creeping up, but when Obama went into office those things skyrocketed just like any other assault style weapon.

Glocks are over priced period as are Kimbers, used or new.

Not all glocks are overprices just the ones everyone wants which is the GLOCK 17.

How many did you get?

Bar none the worst are the hammerless S&W 442's and other J frames. I see them all the time used for 400.00 when you can buy a new one for 320-330.00. Then there are the franken AR's with delton lowers, dpms uppers, magpul trigger guards lol. What really gets over priced used however in my opinion are optics. Somebody will stick a bushnell on a 800 dollar AR and ask 1400.00 for the package.

Glocks of course, but it doesnt stop me from loving them. :001_cool:

Maybe it's just me but I feel that Dan Wessons are overpriced too. Kimbers as well. I feel that many different guns (not just brands) could be lowered to meet consumer expectation.

Specific example...there is a pawn shop in Winston with a kel tec .380 with the tag marked 289.99. For those that dont know...Centerfire sells these new from time to time for around 239 at most...and the9mm ultrathin model can be bought new for less than 289.

Someone didnt know what they were buying or loaning on and got taken for a used gun that sells for around 200.

Overpriced

I was going to say Khar's CW or PM line, but the more I think about it I remember seeing some used 442/642's going for $500 at some gun shows.

And Here I Thought.....

What is the most commonly overpriced used gun? That darn little thing I just bought or any of the darn little things I just bought! Everyone of us wants top dollar for the firearm we are about to sell/trade, but no one wants to pay top dollar for something and will only give you bottom dollar. I'm the same way. We all work hard for what we make. Just remember it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I hope it doesnt upset anyone, but Kimbers are way overpriced for what they are as I have said before. High dollar exteriors with chinese stamped interior componnets. With a large portion after being sold, have to be sent back for repairs or adjustments. Poor magazines as such. They are a case of a product not worthy of a high price. A Cadillac exterior with a Suzuki engine. Also in another posting, it should not require 400 rds to find out or get straightened out by one method or another. Poor quality should not bear a high price.
