WRAL gets the law wrong in their special...suprise

At the 1:24-1:30 mark in this video, the reporter clearly states that pistol purchases are supposed to be completed at a FFL.

For our WRAL employees that are on the board, can you please fix this or site the appropriate law? It might seem like a technicality, but laws are kind of important.

At least they didn't say, "anyone can buy a gun over the Internet without any checks"

I would like to hear why they still insist on leaving the map up that endangers concealed permit holders, in NY they found it was a bad idea because homes were robbed.

Let's see that get corrected.

Come on now Rugerlc9m,

They are just providing useful information for the criminal at WRAL.
What neighborhoods have the guns?

Check your map before you go do a home invasion (so you know if it's less likely to have a gun), or check it to see which houses have valuable guns for criminals to rob while the occupants are gone.

This map info, as you can see, is very useful for certain people!

Yup, in NY it was PROVEN to help criminals.

I posted several comments on the discussion page, and the libtards moderating the comments only posted TWO....
A little off topic, here, but needed to be said....
ditto..they were HEAVILY moderating the discussion. They didn't want to hear any comments about getting their legal references wrong (suprise). They also wouldn't entertain discussion about their map. I'm sure the chat with Gail Neely will be more fair....

I'm still amazed to meet people - people who own guns even - who think you need to have a license and registration to own one. I've even been told that the form they filled out at the dealer was this license and registration. But it's not like that not everywhere - I am liking Texas more and more.

I stole this from FB:
"It's hard to believe, but Texas has followed that crazy newspaper up in New York , and released a map of the location of all gun owners. Their locations are marked by red dots…"

Should have asked them why is it your first amendment right to say what you want, but not mine? Sure your forum your rules, but, if you value the first without the second amendment, you won't have either.

they do seem to delete a lot of our comments for some reason.
It helps them to steer the conversation in a direction they agree with. Honest debate eludes them. They can say or report any details they want, even if it endangers the subject of their report. We have no business offering counterpoints to their arguments, that's just silliness on our part. My grievances with WRAL go well beyond gun control. I'd pay extra money to get their channel deleted from my channel list.

They register but won't post because they can't moderate our comments. One of the differences between us and them is that they can post freely and we won't delete comments we don't approve of.
