I have a Glock 26 now and there's a guy wanting to trade me a Glock 30sf. Pros and Cons of the 30sf & would it be a trade up??? Opinions please! Thanks fellow gun guys.
The G30 (32.50MM wide) is just a little bit wider than the G26 (30MM wide). What I would also consider is most put an extension on the G26 which makes the grip the same length as the 19/30 with facotry extension. So in my opinion I would go with, umm, well, uh, you see . . .G30's seem to be about the same size as a g19 IMHO.
The sf isn't slimmer, it is "shorter" front to back in the grip reducing the trigger reach for smaller hands. Glock reduced the backstrap circumference just a teeny bit. I reach the 30 fine, but the 30 sf seems awesome feeling to me.
Maybe once supply catches up with demand.G26 far cheaper ammo.
You should probably go shoot a 30 before buying or trading for one if you're making the decision on which is easiest to sell if you font like it. The 45 Glocks are noticeably thicker to me so I prefer to carry them OWB.Which would be better for reselling purposes? Is one worth more than the other? Which would be easier to sell in case i didn't like the G30
I don't think the guy at the gun shop would want me loading it and shooting in in or near his shop. lol. So that's not an option unless i can find a friend that has one which may be a possibility. You should probably go shoot a 30 before buying or trading for one if you're making the decision on which is easiest to sell if you font like it. Well sometimes indecision can be a positive, it makes you throughly explore both sides of a decision. Where in NC are you located? There is a range in Hickory that has a G30 not SF model for range rental.gj10 you never answered the question... Tough call for me. I love the G26 and it shoots very well, but i do love the 45acp round...
