Wow! That takes some freaking nerve. Let me ask you. WHO in their right mind hires someone to that position without a background check? It is simply amazing. I mean if that academy would hire the man without it to run the place...how can you trust any of the hires there? Just freaking sad.

Old School Mall Ninja.
I'd rather have a mall ninja/keyboard commando than someone who uses their false "experience" to get a job, especially in one like this.

I'm waiting for one of them to claim to be a Veteran of the Psychic Wars.
BOC fan? or Heavy Metal fan? lol...

Dude's a douchebag. Needs a large, lily-liver-yellow tattoo on his face, marking him as an asshat for the rest of his days. I'm sure there're a lot of real vets that'd love to spit in his face, for daring to pretend to what others actually dared & risked.

I think anyone who poses as a veteran of our military is nothing more than a coward, and I also hate those who try to be more than they actually were in the military, for instances we have a enlisted soldier who served with us during desert storm and now he is proclaiming to be a commissioned major in the alabama national gaurd,l but what the actuality is he is a major in the alabama state defense force which commissions its officers from a 3 man panel, regardless of creditials , oh yeah his dad was on the panel. I busted his bubble by letting everyone he was talking too and trying to bull**** and let them know the truth about it all and even gave them the documentation as proof
so they can judge for themselves

Little bit of both. Never would have heard of the song if it wasn't for David Drake's Posleen series of books :)

+1 this. Except for leaving him a face.

I'm proud of what I did in the Army & I respect anyone who's ever "suited up & showed up" for Uncle Sam & wrote that blank check to our country.

Knowing firsthand the sacrifices we made, the risks we faced, the buds who didn't make it home, I despise poseurs. If you think the military is so sexy & badass, go see your recruiter & tear you off a slice of that "glory". Otherwise, show a little respect for those who actually did what you were too scared to try.

If you didn't earn it, don't claim it.

That school is completely screwed up, which is sad because it didn't use to be. Their head accountant is a friend of mine (retired last year because of some of the things he was asked to do). Lets just say that they have many, many issues and this is just one of them. Glad they caught him, and this is only the beginning of his problems. It is a federal felony to impersonate a war hero so he should be seeing some jail time real soon.

I was in Gun Rack one day when a guy started asking questions over people about "if u r in the military what about this and that etc" which is not necessarily unusual until he started sayin how he would have to come back because he is running black ops and such and didnt have something or other with him at that time.

Of course everyone in the store could hear him and all Im sure agreed it was obvious he was none of what he claimed.

I have had people assume I was in the military because I used to travel with my work and always had short hair and used yes sir and no maam all the time but I made it a point to correct people who made that assumption. I never served so I have no right to claim it or any part of it.

And yes..it is a felony to serve in any foreign army...this was a point made in a book written by a US citizen that was in the French Foreign Legion...when you get back to the US you have to claim you worked for the French Gov't and leave it at that.
