Colt's Combat Commander from 1977...

This was someone's project, so now it's my project. It's in great condition, just needs original parts.
Grips, grip screws, trigger, guide rod, guide rod plug... anybody want a Commander length FLGR?
Night sights are kaput... I have XS on my LW Commander, might go with them for this'n.
I'll keep the beavertail for now.

@MacEntyre , you're just a few parts and pieces from having that Commander back like it should be. My 1972 Commander has the short trigger and I like it better than any other trigger I've tried.

Me too! I've got a trigger in the shop that might work!

If I can find a stock tail, and an arched mainspring housing, I'll ditch the beavertail. But for now, it's just a few parts that it needs.

Fortunately, no one messed with the feed ramp!

Not to be crass, but what does this pistol have to do with the Navy? Merely a Challenge Coin? Or is there some engraving that I'm missing, maybe a change in the grips that I'm not seeing? (Just sayin'.)

Look at the grip closely on a larger than iPhone 5 screen ;)

This is better, eh?

Now to find a guide rod, recoil spring plug and sights.

Anyone in need of a skeletonized aluminum trigger with overtravel adjustment?
How about a full length guide rod for a commander?
